Hey im looking to sell my trek liquid 30 complete bike.I believe the frame is a 2003, but i could be wrong. This is a 5 inch front and rear travel do it all bike. The frame is a 17.5" (meduim. The front triangle is trek red zr9000 aluminum. This is the nicest and most lightweight aluminum trek makes, the chainstays are carbon fiber. Trek used carbon stays on this bike so they would flex and work with the suspesion to give it a better ride and also to add weight. The fork is a 2003 marzocchi z1 freeride bomber. Just prior to selling I had the internals all redone, new springs, new oil, its basically a brand new fork now. (all the work was done by my manager at the bike shop i work at)The fork has preload and rebound adjust, as well as ETA (external travel adjust, flick a switch and drop down the fork to lower the front end for climbing). The wheels are Sun rims, tomac series DHS. These rims are SUPER strong, i really hate to part with them. The can handle absolutely anything. Shimano XT cranks, super light, super strong. 2 chainrings, the larger is a 36 tooth. I put a raceface bashguard on it. As far as the drive train, just put on a new cassete and chain halfway through the summer. Brand new shimano XT shadow rear deraillor, it has shimano deore shifters and front deraillor. The rear shock is a romic coil shock, upgraded from the shock it came with. Specialized resolution 2.3" tires, ODI rouge lock on grip, race face bars. The brakes are 4-piston HOPE hydraulic brakes. They are extremely powerful, 4 pads on each rotor means twice the power. This bike was advertised as an all mountain bike, ive been using it for everything from xc, to freeride. This is a great all mountain bike, it is simply a tank when it comes to freeride, it can handle anything you throw at it. The bike and parts have some wear and tear, there are scratches and rub marks on the frame, fork and some components, the "LIQUID" stickers are pealing off, there is some rub on the cranks from my shoes. There are absolutely no dents or cracks in the frame or fork or anything else. trek offers a full lifetime warranty on the frame, so if there are any issues with the frame, theyll help you out no questions asked. Ive used the trek warranty before and they really do back it up. Prior to selling i had my trek representative check out the entire frame, he took pictures of any scratches and took it them back to trek, the frame is in perfect condition with the exception of cosmetic flaws such as cable rub and a few scratches, NO CRACKS, NO DENTS.
Thanks for looking!! I hope i described everything well, if you have any questions about anything or if i wasnt specific enough, please dont hesitate to ask, I'm availible just about any time on my cell phone (847 915 8747) the price is negociable, just call i probably wont answer a pinkbike message. pedals are most likely not included, but if youre interested, well talk.
thanks again for looking.
