Want to get my first DH bike budgets kinda tight so I'm thinking the Kona Operator, or the Norco DH. Any help / suggestions (aside from the Buy&Sell) are greatly appreciated. Looking to stay as close too the $3,000 mark. Want a bike that I can grow with and upgrade as I go.

Kona operator is a nice, light (ish) decent bike, and will sustain all that you can throw at it Salute

I would look under buy/sell. I just picked up a 2009 m6 with 40s, cane creek double barrels, Deemax, and full saint for $2000 usd

my friend rode one in whistler and he said that it was a bit tall in the corners but handled the rough and tech pretty good he was overall pleased with the performance,it is shorter but still stable, im riding for kona next season cant wait to get my operator supreme![
