Lazer’s New A-Line DH Helmet Weighs Just 880 Grams

@vinay: Hard disagree on Moto helmets being less safe than DH helmets. If you look at the tests and allowable acceleration levels for a DOT helmet and an ASTM DH helmet they’re extremely similar. IIRC the biggest difference is that DOT has penetration resistance requirements and ASTM 1952 does not. In fact the new ECE moto standard from Europe actually has low speed impact requirements as well, something I don’t believe any MTB standard has requirements for. I’m putting my brain in an ECE 22.06 certified moto helmet on the dirtbike and on the DH bike.

Specialized Launches Radial Tire Lineup

How much are other tires up there? Here MSRP on a DH MG Maxxis tire is around $110, so $90 for a Specialized tire is pretty appealing.
