why do you want / need a new fork? you plan on making it a fr HT? 100 is perfect, 110 is the max id go on a hardtail. yes, travel is adjusted internally, air only afect stiffnes
@sie7e well, i have a hardtail, i have 130 mm travel on it and the sag brings it to a solid 100 mm,. the max you go depends on the size of the frame and rims billay
she aint ride funky, she ride like a 18 year old prostitute the sag makes it normal,. i dont have a p1, i have a kona cowan but theyre both 17" frames, and it sorta does
i'll just see when i get em , the guy sais there ncie and smooth so what ever . w'ell see, lets hit up centrum when i get em??? and find those ppl and tell em i got marsocchi 2010 DJ3s nice condishin and paint for $100 OBO.
100 max anymore than that you will be putting too much strain on the head tube. The p series bikes were not designed to go any higher and don't have the required reinforced head tubes to do so. You risk snapping the frame. Got my info direct from specialized
dude... if u can snap a p1... i will buy you a new frame... those things are tanked, easily could take 140 with out snapping, prob could go to 120 and still feel comfortable
BUT, for dj 100 mil is more than enough,
lots of fail going on here..
dude with the cowan, konas are awkward turtle no matter what you do, and da f*ck you talking about sag on a dj bike for? max sag on a dj bike should be 5-10% maybe less depending on your ride style.
