I do care I just couldn't check it for a while. I think I like the reign x better . Better parts for your money .

The Reign X is a little better value, the the Trek is just generally a much better frame.

So much more adjustable, and has had a lot more thought put into it(I feel) , Read the review on VitalMTB

Thanks for the advice guys. I agree that the giant has better parts but I also like the suspension platform better on the giant. The overall bike has less flex.

Well I think Trek's ABP and Full floater will easily beat maestro.
That's my opinion though but I see whoever sits one of Treks FS bike agrees on this idea.

Frame differences aside, I think we agree that the parts on the giant are better than the parts on the trek.

Reign XO vs Slash 9
6.150 USD vs 5.880 USD
The only better part I see on Giant is DHX air shock.

slash hands down here.

Just looking at the giant site. To me the slash 9 looks better equipped. And it's costs a little less than the highest priced reign x. I demo'd a slash and was highly impressed with it. Pedals great, I found the geometry to be very comfortable, and the faster you rode it the more stable it felt. The rear drcv shock works exactly the way trek says it does. It lives up to the hype. I haven't heard that many great things about the dhx air shock. The coil version yes, but the air version from what I hear isn't all that spectacular.

I was looking at the reign x1 or the slash 7. The price for the giant is 4000and the trek is 3800
