Just thought I would get the ball rolling. Here are a couple shots of the new love of my life, Pivot Mach 6. She's gotten pretty dirty since, glad I got some pristine shots first.

All I can say about the Mach 6 is it's incredible. It climbs really well, I've completed several climbs I've never been able to do before. It also descends incredibly well, this bike is fast. You can see me shredding my favorite local Bend trail here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hATbSyv7nSQ

Thanks for the reply!!

I plan to buy one tomorrow. Unfortunately I can't demo one & I know that's very very very dumb to do. However I've seen awesome review from websites even-though I like user reviews better.

I'm throwing a dual position 160mm pike on the bike so I'm hoping it climbs even better on fire roads!! I know to be weary of the low bottom bracket though.

Do you have a review of the rear shock?
Also what type of climbing do you do? Sometimes I do really techy climbs. Tons of roots in the way basically.

Yes, I do have to watch the bottom bracket on turns with rocks and stuff. The Fox Float X rear shock has been excellent. Plush and progressive. No complaints at all. I do some steep and technical climbing over rocks and roots. So far this bike has been great. Just leave the rear shock in trail mode and it eats up tech climbs. I just have to watch out for pedal strikes, otherwise, it's great.

I'm confused why the blue, the black/green, & the red/black frames all look different in the pics on the internet. Are they displaying different frame sizes for each color scheme?

I think I'm going to do the black/green frame. My RS Pike will be white because that's the only color it come in with dual position or at least that's the only one they're selling :\

Couple questions

One, how the f do they expect us to adjust rebound in the rear shock?

Two, the shifting cable where it's exposed on the seat stay, can it be covered? I don't want that exposed.

Can't find the torque spec for the back brake post. I have the PDF off Pivots website but that doesn't have the information listed for the brake post
