hiho. I want a new frame but im asking alot. Im buying halo combat rims in 24". When the bike is built its going to me used as a mode of transport but only around my small town and maybe 5 miles max and thats not often. I want it to have a low top tube and 2.3" tyres. Also I will be riding in some woods with the hard dirt but then like dusty/dirt (if u you know what I mean, lol, basically in woods but not wet and sinky dirt).
Caan anyone suggest a frame?? I only want to spend £150 max so can anyone suggest a frame like this (im going to look second hand). I like identiti's/orange/24 seven, anything like this.
I also have a derallier (sorry for spelling) triggers and can get the cassete for gears but im not sure, should I stay single speed???
I also found these that I like: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=20882 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=13164
I also like the transition (DMR) but I dont want to spend so much really as I may need to buy new forks
id look around ebay and the buy/sell section on pb but if youre gonna project build id get one wit iscg mounts because adaptors are really annoying to get right
Well I have a bike at moment, trailstar with 26"s but buying halo combats 24" this week, i have single speed.avid juicy 3 on the rear and Dirt jam pro's. Just the frame's top tube is to high really.
KK bud. Well I dont need to worry about strength tomuch as im not a hard dirt jumper and it will be used for getting around/messin about on such as going on bmx race track style tracks etc
damb, im stuck for which frame to get or shall i put 24" wheels on my trailstar for now or buy a new frame??? I hear a DDG shooter rides rubbish with 24"
