Hello,
I am interested in the purchase of your ad of listed for sale
and i will want you to get back to me with your last offer if you still have it
for sale as i am willing to make the urgent purchase.
My name is Shane Potter a citizen of England but me and my family are based in the States where i work as a Sales Manager...
Just to let you know that as for the payment, i will be instructing my P.A to
send out payment via a Certified Check as soon as we conclude on the price and
as for the shipping i will handle that myself by contacting my international
shipping agent to really handle that for me. i am really okay with the details i
got from the website and its really my taste.
i will want you to get back to me if you are okay with my terms so i can
instruct my accountant to issue out payment as soon as we conclude on price.
If you are okay with me, then you can mail me back and let us conclude on
everything today.

Not legit at all. I want to see what happens when someone follows through with this, but gives the "Shipping Company" a rusted out dumpy bike.

Apparently counter-scams are pretty easy to pull.. but I have no idea how. Buddy of mine got some indian dude's address and personal info when he got scammed. Reported the guy and didn't lose a cent!

You go to his house at night and tell him you're dumbledore and you're going to rape his mother and take pictures and leave them on his desk.
Appear every night for about six weeks.
That's what he gets for scamming!

I have almost gotten scammed like this so i know

They will tell you that they have to send more money to you (sometimes) and they tell you to send the extra back to them.

You get the cheque, send the bike, cheque bounces after you already sent him the extra, and you are out of your bike and a few thousand dollars.
