The tug of war bit was really dumb in my opinion. I have no problems with Ford or GMC (i've never really been into the whole truck thing though, they are cool, but not my cup of tea). The tug of war was pointless, whoever loses traction first will automaticly be pulled because the other has more grip. It also depends on gearing, a car which receives full boost (in this case, turbo diesels) first, will break traction if held by something which weighs a similar amount.
My dads ford is 21 years old and it works perfectly fine. We also have a 2003 GMC Sierra and a little 1993 dodge car. The point here is that all vehicles will last you a long time if you take care of them. Brand doesn't really matter!!!
I could find double the videos of chevys kickin ass and post a video on you tube if you want me to but whats the point we all know that chevy kills ford lol. O and I dont think iv ever seen a video of ford pullin a cummins and not getting its as kicked haha. Heres a picture for you Ford lovers hahaha

Hahaha, thats entertaining, guess you forgot about the video's of the GMC/chev's front ends falling apart during 4wd launches, so yeah, no thanks to them. The cummins are a great engine, probably the best diesel going, just the trucks they are wrapped around have had their problems. Ford has the best body/chasis, and the powerstroke is a great diesel as well, so I think I'll stick with them.
i love the cummins. right now i drive a ford, but my friends dont consider it a truck because its only 2wd. i'm hating myself for getting my ford too. don't get me wrong, i love the truck, but i'd much rather have a fullsize dodge ram 2500, with the cummins and a KORE suspension lift. ultimate bike hauler imo
I am not a big truck guy, we don't do a lot of towing but for everything the 'yota's have been a sick truck for us.
I recently ran into a guy who rebuilds Land Cruisers, he has a customer come in, his cruiser had 1.4million Miles on the original engine.
He did a compression test on the engine. They were down an average 7PSI from original factory specs. To me that is the true test of a truck. Now how much weight it can haul. That video proves and shows nothing.
I have always found Ford/Dodge's very cheaply made. The build quality for the price just isn't there.
At my farm we have only Toyota cars/suv's and Chevy trucks. Neither one has ever given us any trouble except one of the trucks got swamped and inhaled a ton of water, it didn't do to well after that incident but that is not the trucks fault.
The only thing really impressive about that test is the water, the fact that it didn't get hydro-locked . Other than that not overly impressive, they just beat the shit out of the body.
woooooooooow calm the fck down. all other brands made vids too dont jus tknock ford down and dont shit on american stuff. toyota is slowly sneaking ain and taking over . it dont matte rif its ford dodge or chev lol .............ps I completly dislike toyota
