Yeh, Fun bike. Getting a G-spot soon. Rode a modern enduro bike for a few years and it was great, but I miss the maneuverability of an old 26" free ride/AM bike. I miss my Knolly Delirium. Plus, It is hard to find a good modern bike for a fair price these days, at least in Alberta. Everyone has gone bike crazy since the pandemic. 2014 G-spot it is!
I'm just getting excited by the prospect of my new build so I am posting some of the parts I am getting together. I either already have them or they are on the way. No speculation...
My El Norte saddle is red all over though, and I am trying to get together a set of black Halo Combat. Looks like I will have to buy new for the 26" version, though.
Hiya @Marlon-d, Sorry for the very, very, very late reply. Currently on vacation in Ashland Oregon (without a bike...) but the bike shop has built up the rear wheel back home while I am away so it should be assembled and pictures posted this coming week!
Does anyone have a 27.5 dropout for the last generation of Cove Shocker for sale?
I contacted Cove bike shop, but they no longer have the dropout in stock...
Thank you all!
Phil
hi. sorry i sold my dropouts when i sold my frame. but what you could do is just run a 27.5 front wheel. i did that first and i noticed a huge difference. when i changed the back wheel from 26 to 27.5 i didn't notice that much difference. all the rampage bikes seem to be run that way too. i hope that helps.
