They are generally well accepted... But I've heard of a few quality issues lately, particularly their cranks.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Eclat 2015 Aeon crank

Here at Éclat we put rider safety first with all of our products. We are extremely disappointed to announce that we are recalling our Aeon Crank due to a few cases of the ‘fluted’ end of the spindle breaking. We hope it’s clear that éclat is a company that takes its responsibility as a manufacturer of BMX products extremely seriously and in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in the USA and we are voluntarily recalling the crank.”

In the unlikely event that you cannot get any help from either your retailer or distributor please contact us.

Must say black is a good choice. I also removed all the stickers.
The red seatpost mmmm... not my thing, so will be replaced for raw.
Crankset and sprocket also raw...

It was only at 8.5 years until you bumped it up to 10 in one fell necro-swoop! Still cool to see one of your own threads last so long.

Admittedly, I didn't go through the whole thread... so... does anyone here have any real life experience with any titanium spindles/crank axles?
I'm wondering if those would hold up to DJ / general abuse, not too sure so far, but curiosity might get the better of me Smile

I ran a ti spindle in a set of profiles for about 2 years of hard riding and it had no issues, but had to get rid of it when I got a frame with a wider bb. I'd say they're up to the task!

Evo 2 vs diatech hombre brakes, which is better ignoring the stock pads.
