Let us know how the Darco rides once you have got some miles on it.

It's a loverly looking bike you've got there.

This was the first ride I had both on the trail - a buddy borrowed it for a ride haha. His first try riding a SS

Would he do it again?

Is this a replacement for a hardtail, FS bike or as a complement to any bikes? I'm having a hard time figuring if this will work beside my Doctahawk or should be a replacement for it

It’s a complement bike to my Chromag Surface! I find it the perfect pairing for the riding I’m doing on the island. You could look at the Lowdown if you wanted something a bit more similar to your doctahawk

Funnily enough, I was beside someone riding a Lowdown at Whistler and they felt that it was not a hardtail-style ride, but instead is a full on enduro bike made by Chromag.
That starts to feel like it's not from what I really love about Chromag and how I ride the Doctahawk. I think I'm more likely to get a Starling or a Curtis if I wanted a longer travel at each end steel bike.
But the Darco looks like such a great solution to a few issues I have for certain trails but the overlap could be shameful haha

The Darco sounds like a very niche bike that HTers will appreciate - a little quirky in a qay some will appreciate. Something very much in the Chromag vein of things. While the Lowdown looks fun it's just another steel Enduro bike.

There were quite a lot steel full-sus bikes at the Bespoked Show.

This one was locked up outside of the show.

Al steel, including the linkage and everything. The owner made the front triangle himself, under supervision of the guy behind Unique. They acknowledged that the plates of the lower shock mount seem at little weak. But its steel, so it's pretty easy to repair, in case things fail.

Some rigid stuff

That's an old Specialized FSR with a new rear triangle to fit some meaty 27.5" rubber. Very cool, imo.

An old french tandem from 1946, freshened up to fit modern components. 26" wheels.

Also: That Zoceli Megatower comes with a bottle opener.
