Has anyone converted a 2013 evo 26” to a 27.5”? Any good? Seems thought in the rear but the front is just a fork swap at best. Maybe 76’er?
I had an ‘11 stumpy made mullet style. I had clearance on my mattoc fork for the 27.5. I loved it. I had a 27.5” wtb asym in front and a 26” blunt35 in the rear. Was awesome till it walk out of my garage in someone’s else hands two months ago.
I would do it all over again. It was a great upgrade.
What are the people's opinion on the bike yoke from Germany (BikeYoke part #SJ02)?
I did a quick research (obviously I did a bad one). I ordered one to replace the one on the Stumpy. I just have some questions about using the bike yoke.
The reason I ordered one is I want to have the option of different rear shocks. With standard sizing, I'm not locked to a specific or proprietary sizing.
So my question is. The bike yoke (SJ02) Is compatible with 190x51 or 190x45 shock sizes (eye to eye length). So basically it would change the geometry of the bike. How bad or good is it? In terms of handling and climbing?
Does it matter when you use metric 190x50 or imperial 7.5x2.0 (190x51)? Basically what are the effects using the bike yoke?
