barnseyhcxc - i definitely dont have the kind of cash for full carbon bikes and really looking at other threads on other sites although they have tended to lean towards teh road / racing and TT styles the reports of the frams are quite good with only some minor issues which the persons who purchased the frames have managed to resolve with some fetling. but this has in a 50% case been due to the components used which other users have had similar issues with on other bikes ie non carbon etc.
the others have resolve the small infractions by sanding for the head post etc to get the bearings to slide down the frame sections etc.

yes the £400 frame looks like but I do not posess that kind of cash for a frame and would mean further expense to upgrade from v brakes to disc.

still going thought the other threads for the mtb hard tails

we have had a few of these frames in our bike shop , people coming in saying there frame has cracked , we say where did you buy it , they say " it cost 200 quid from china " then we say " what do you expect "

like some said before , there is a reason decent carbon frames cost over a grand

Why would somone take a frame into a shop were they didn't buy it, and the shop dosn't carry the brand?

a large majority of what we purchase today is made in china and tiwan so whats different with any of the other bikes we buy? apart from the Italian and American manufactures that do make them in their own country the big names always use cost effective labour

check out this "chinese" manufacture and the steps they take

Even if the 200 quid frame lasts half as long as a decent one it's still cheaper.

Most of the people on this site think that the frame specialized stick there sticker on is the frame they made in house, most taiwanese/chinese companies are allowed to produce the previous generations frames, but because it doesn't have the brand sticker on it comes in at a reduced cost.

its not cheaper though cause all you will be doing is replacing the frame when it cracks

lol If it lasts half as long and you spend 200 quid compared to a 1000 quid how on earth is that not cheaper.
