it has 0.7" more travel, and it's a little slacker overall. It's also a built for more abuse, (stiffer link, etc)

Yes the frames are different, not just a longer-travel shock.

nice. my only concern now is finding a shop that actually has a floor model of both to give a bit of a parking lot drive. Seems in Ontario (well, toronto area anyway), they dont stock the reigns.

Giant site says small but can never trust them. Havnt got no local bike shops tht stock these bikes to test Frown

i'm 5'7" and ride the Giant Trance X.... fits great. I haven't tried a small, but the medium feels comfy and I can throw the bike around just fine. By the same measure, I'd assume the Reigns would have the same measurement system.
