Well let's hope they upgrade me with the new lyrik after 3 being replaced already, my mate just sent his back with the same problem too.

Lame. Must be the new fleet. Maybe they cut corners somewhere.

Hi , I ride commencal meta with pike rct3 , weight 180kg and set sag to recommended numbers and was always bottoming . So added 1 token. Ignored pressure numbers just set it to 30% sag , compression settings I ride on a flat at jogging speed and brake hard , stiffen the comp until forks don't drop when breaking . It's pretty good now , soft on the little rocks and roots but stiffens when I land big drops . You can add another token and do all above again if you need more !

Thank you! I'm going to play with those settings more. Feels strange to have compression open on rear shock but somewhat closed on the fork. That how a lot of people ride?

rct3 150mm 26"
58 psi
one and a bit tokens (i cut one so it's about 5mm)
+6 lsc
+8 or 9 rebound
200 pound rtr

if i drop the psi it dives to much.

180kg? So around 300lbs? Just checking.

Update. I'm not running 2 clicks of compression and about 10psi more in the pike and about 15-20psi more in my shock. I think I like this stiffer feel. Let's me do a bit more work and feel more connected to the trail. Saves suspension for the big stuff too.

Gonna try to kick this thread up again in 2017!

Im 130lbs
Run the compression usuly fully open and the psi is 45-50 for me.
Two tokens
Rebound is like 8 clicks from the rabbet

So someone school me on lsc and hsc for me please. I knownits in relation to fork speed. Chattery rocks vs big hits like roots and ruts. Sometimes the fork rebounds perfectly over a bunch of roots but sometimes over just one it bounces me off too much. Is there any way to adjust high speed compression? Is rebound constently need to be adjusted?

I think i found the sweet spot for me now so i'll dig this thread up.
Pike RC 160mm from 2015, 158lbs
52psi 1 volume spacer
LSC 1 click from open (just feel a difference on the last few clicks anyway)
HSC re-shimmed and moved 2 preload shims to top of the stack
rebound 4 clicks from open

185 lbs
150mm travel
27.5
80 psi
3 spacers
+4 LSC from open
+4 rebound from open

What difference did it make? I have RCT3 Lyrik and even with 35% cant get full travel and I ride on steep rocky terrain. Was thinking about doing exactly the same, should help with getting more travel, maybe even with higher pressure (less sag)?

It helped quite a lot because the Pike RC stack was too stiff for lighter riders, there are some threads about this topic on mtbr.com forums. I don't know about the Lyrics factory setup.

160mm RC Pikes with Debonair spring.

I'm 93kg (~205 lb)

I was running 90 psi fully stuffed with tokens and never bottom them out. I dropped to 83 on my last ride but think 85 - 87 is probably the go.

I'm running the comp damping fully open. No idea what the rebound is, just fast enough.

I upgraded to DebonAir that allowed me to increase the pressure quite a bit. After some bikepark riding last summer i also dialed in firmer LSC damping.

Pike RC 160mm from 2015 with DebonAir Spring, System weight 87kg/192lbs
75psi, 1 volume spacer (bike park setup, my hometrails don't have jumps so 65 will do)
LSC 5 clicks from closed
HSC re-shimmed and moved 2 preload shims to top of the stack
Rebound 14 clocks from closed

Anyone still riding this fork?
