The rhyno lytes that are machined and welded are kickass in 24.
If you ride like a hack, of course your going to wreck them. But if your a decent rider they are a realy good rim.

i am in the same dilema, i have researched alot too. the pimp and pimplite's have a flat surface but its not really a braking surface is it? it would work but it doesn't seem like would stop as well. if im wrong and they work great then i think ill do a pimp in the rear and a pimplite in the front.

i am looking into alienation black sheep ones but they are a little harder to find.

also
the alex dm2418 look a little better then some of their others. 650 grams is alot but im thinking of buyin that for the rear wheel and then something light like a pimplite for the front. i would rather have a rear wheel be a little heavier and last longer then having to straighten it constantly.

Rhyno XL's are a wicked strong rim... Comes in 36 and 32 holes. Even the Rhyno Lite takes a good beating.
