Field Test: Enduro vs Force 29 vs Slayer vs Mojo HD5 vs SB165 - 2020 Enduro Bikes
Id love to hear their thoughts on the Yeti SB150 vs the Specialized Enduro. I have a SB150 and it is scary how fast and capable that bike is. I'm guessing they are fairly similar in what they are capable of but it would be nice to hear about their subtle differences. I don't feel like the SB165 is a good comparison to the Enduro.

Aug 29, 2019Ibis ripmo frame, will trade for longer travel 29er
$2500 USD2019 Ibis ripmo. I bought this bike new at the end of April. It's a crazy fun bike that pedals better than any other bike I have owned/demo'd. I ride quite a bit of DH, shuttle, and resort so I want to trade for a bigger bike. Mainly looking for something along the lines of an SB150 or megatower. Willing to negotiate swapping some parts as well.

Video: Testing 27.5 vs 29er with Ben Cathro
@GOrtho: I would think carbon would be better unless there was a failure. Correct me if I'm wrong (and I totally could be) but don't carbon wheels corner and accelerate better and deflect less/hold a line better due to their stiffness? I thought the only real negatives are a potentially harsh ride if they are overly stiff and more potential for catastrophic failures. The test track looked pedally in sections which would favor the carbon wheels.

@ninjatarian: far more than 2 variables... But the one I mentioned could alone be the reason the 29er times were better.

I've seen similar comparisons where people test carbon wheels vs aluminum and shave similar times off.... The 27.5 had aluminum and the 29 had carbon if I'm not mistaken... Might have skewed the results a bit.

Aug 3, 2014Knolly Chilcotin, Large, CCDB Air, Lyrik, LEV, etc
$2400 USDUp for grabs is a lightly used, Custom built, Large 2013 Knolly Chilcotin. This bike rips and has been a blast to ride. I bought it last summer to be my "one" bike while I went through nursing school and unfortunately didn't even have much time to ride it. I would guess less than 15 total rides on most of the parts/frame with exception to the wheels, fork, cranks, tires. I just graduated and I am buying myself a new bike as a present to myself so I need to sell this one. It is in excellent condition with no noticeable dents or scratches. I used 3m on the downtube so it is pretty much chip free.
Here is the spec list - If I remember right it weighs under 32 lbs (31.5ish)
2013 Knolly Chilcotin size large, Day glow Yellow (it literally glows in the dark)
2013 CCDB Air (Amazing shock for this bike)
170mm Lyrik Solo Air DH
KS LEV 150mm Seatpost (this thing is Amazing!!)
Hope pro 2 hubs with Stans Flow rims laced with DT competition spokes
Schwalbe Fat Albert front, Fat Albert Rear (rear tire has about 50% tread left)
2013 XT brakes with 7" rotors front and rear with tons of life left on them
Deity Black Label bars (780mm) or Easton Havoc DH Carbon Bars (745mm)
Thompson X4 stem, 50mm
SLX cranks with 32t chainring
E13 LG1+ chainguide
Sram X9 shifter/rear der
Sram 1070 10 speed cassette - 11-36
WTB Devo Saddle (a little worn)
Hope seat clamp
