You can edit your own ridelogs and change the region a ridelog is attached too. You can do this on the website or the app.
On the website you can "rescan badges" for a ridelog.
But it doesn't matter if your ridelog is attached to the riding area or the parent region. All applicable badges for the ridingarea, the parent city and all other riding areas under that city will be checked. It would only be an issue if your ridelog was attached to a different city.
Ah! Ok. I'll dig into it. There is so much to learn about this app and then more with the website.
I'll do my best to supply as much trail detail that I can.
I noticed that a few trails that have recently been closed to mountain biking still appear in the badges. Can these be removed: https://www.trailforks.com/trails/jane-lake-south/ https://www.trailforks.com/trails/jake-lake-south/
Maybe there's a way to program an automatic refresh of ALL badges every so often, that way the badges would be up-to-date and you won't have to do it manually .
I already PM'ed about this, but it would be good if we could flag or report when a completionist badge includes a trail that has mistakenly been included.
Also, going forward - will completionist badges be "unearned" if new trails are added? I hope not or it will be impossible to keep them.
No they are static at the moment. Maybe could make new completionist badges every couple years.
I do think I need to create a script that checks these badges, for trail changes though.
Has the script been created to check for trail changes? I have been editing local trails to show in the correct regions for the Completionist badges. There isn't much of a reason to continue to make these changes if the Completionist badges still show trails from other regions.
I just noticed some of the trails I rode earlier in summer haven't been marked as ridden in the Badges.
I've gone to the Ride Log and clicked "rescan badges" but no luck. I thought maybe if the badge was created after the ride it might not show up, but I did some rides after the badge was created and it doesn't show up.
An example are the trails "Emerald Forest", " "Emerald Forest 2", "Enter RRTI" etc I rode on this ridelog, but don't appear ticked on the badge here.
Arrrgh! Went to ride the final trail of a Completionist Badge and TF is not marking it as ridden.
It's an out and back trail. I recorded the out part with Strava, but it was tracking waaaay off course. At the turn around point, I then recorded using TF for the return/back part. I think Strava might have also been recording too. Maybe this has something to do with it not crediting me the trail?

I am trying to complete the "Königstuhl Completionist" with its 77 trails: https://www.trailforks.com/badges/view/34464/
Trailforks shows for quite some time that I have ridden all trails. I realized that a number were ridden reverse or only captured partly - still they were marked on the badges site as ridden :-(
By now I have all trails ridden correctly after creation of the badge. It still is not completed. Any clue what's wrong?

Fixed! Sometimes a badge criteria has the trailid for a trail that has been deleted. For region admins, editing the badge and simply re-saving it, fixes the issue, removing these non existent trails. It has been on my "todo" list for awhile to somehow automate that.
Specific question regarding Jefferson Forest region in Ontario, Canada and the completionist badge. https://www.trailforks.com/badges/view/33883/ The criteria for the badge only shows 41 trails listed, whereas the list of trails shows 109.https://www.trailforks.com/region/jefferson-forest/ Tied to edit the list, but I didn't create it, so no dice. Not all 109 trails need to be in as some of them have been closed since last update. I'm one of the local trailbuilders for this region and know the area well, so would like to get it updated. I can provide a list of what trails should be inlcuded if need be. Thanks

I have completed all the trails for the Completionist badge in the Cumberland BC trail system but one of the trails (Chump Change) has been marked 'sensitive or secret'. My ride log and badge progress shows that I have completed it but I haven't been awarded the badge. Is there an admin for this trail system who can remove that trail as a requirement for the badge? https://www.trailforks.com/badges/view/113304/

Many thanks!
PS I should have mentioned that this is the Completionist for trail running - although the trail in question is necessary for mountain biking as well.
PPS I see that that trail has now been removed from the required trail list ... but I still haven't been awarded the Completionist badge. Thanks for helping (my compulsion!)
have you contacted the admin for that region? they should be able to sort this out for you. Look at the bottom of the page to see who it is.
also if they've removed it [Chump change] from the badge rescan for badges on the ridelog and it might pick it up.
Came here to say that - rescan. You may have to rescan each ridelog in the series and then maybe it'll work. Badges are sort of hit or miss. It used to drive me bananas so now I ignore them.
