The problem is, i have to be open to more option. I can't buy a brand new one, it's too expensive. So i'm getting a second hand one, but i really have to be open for other frames and bikes.

If it comes down to that list, I'd have to go with the Banshee.

I've heard from friends that those things can withstand nuclear bombs. The other bikes are pretty much DJ oriented.

morphine or .243 downhill

well, i can vouch for the astrix, solid frame, and it can take a hell of a beating... its heavy, but it can take a 7" fork and ride well, plus the design that goes into them is unbelievable. the vertical dropouts that move and have a built in tensioner is nice, the internal wall in the tubing makes the whole bike crazy stiff, and the geometry is great in either type of riding...

for example, she rode well as a hardtail fr bike:

and now she rides great as a dj bike...

very versatile frame

from the other bikes, a morphine is probably overkill, i'm not fond of the look of a jackal myself, but the .243 frames are excellent.

Perfect. And now i just have to see if they will get to sell them or not xD

I ride a Banshee Scirocco and it takes serious abuse.
Many friends of mine have Morphines and no one had problems with that... all I hear about it is that it´s very strong and the geometry is perfect.
If you want a more versatile frame take the Scirocco... it´s lighter and can be pedaled uphill as well!
