Can anyone please confirm that the 2015 Stylus frame will accept a Maxxis 2.4 Highroller? I've got the frame, Hope hubs and rims to build up a set of 27.5 Stan's Flow EXs but want to confirm that a decent sized rear tire will fit. Frame is 2015 Stylus 26" without the stealth dropper routing and with 135mm dropouts, but with the 44/56 tapered head tube.

Thanks in advance!

It can fit a 27.5" 2.4" tire and still have clearance for wheel flex.

27.5 will fit no problem . Even with 2.5

Anyone have a build with the charcoal/ tight yellow frame. I'm trying to decide on frame color with the 2017 stylus frames. Thanks

Charcoal all the way. I loved the color of mine when I had it.

Anyone tried the 2017 frame with 26" wheels and fork? Want to upgrade my old school 26" geometry frame with more modern geometry but don't want to throw down a bunch of money on a full build. It sounds like I'd lose 12mm of bb drop due to the smaller wheels, along with another ~10mm and slightly steeper HA and ST angle from the smaller axle to crown of my 26" fork (520mm insteam of 540).

I want to eventually upgrade the fork and wheels to 27.5 but get some more life out of the 26 inch setup.

Otherwise I'll just keep my old santa cruz chameleon for another season. I'd appreciate any advice. This thread has me drooling for a stylus!

I had contacted Chromag and talked with them at length about that as at the time I had an awesome 26” wheelset that I couldn’t sell and wanted to use. Chromag told me that it was entirely possible and would still work well, still won’t be as fast as the 27.5” but it’ll still get you up and down the mountain with a smile on the descents.

Awesome, thanks y'all, I'm gonna see about grabbing a frame and post my build on here if it goes down.

What would happen if one decided to put a DJ fork (100mm) on the Stylus?

Have any of you put your stylus to the scale test? Curious how much they built up. Chromag says the frames are around 7lbs about .5-1 LB heavier then some other chromags.
