What do you think? 38mm? Coil only?

I can't see them using the GRIP2 damper, maybe a new slightly more adjustable GRIP damper?

My buddy (bike shop owner) just told me that the new version of the Scott Genius is about to be released in the next couple of days. It's going to be an all-mountain 29er with 150 mm of travel, like the previous version. Unfortunately I have no further details, but I think it's pretty fair to assume that the rear shock will be integrated into the frame like on the current-gen Spark, Spark RC and Patron.
looks like you were right
