Hey everyone! I've got a 2019 Clash Essential, and I've got a beef with the rear brake cable routing. The way it's set up from the factory, the cable is actually limiting the amount of travel you get by pulling taut when compressing the suspension. I'm afraid if I actually race or go full send on my bike, I'll snap the cable or break the mount! The other issue is that it is practically rubbing the spokes with where it's positioned! Any advice other than route it externally?
The bolt in his 26" Meta AM 4 2013 has lost a boltnut, see the picture. The bolt at the end of the rear axle to be exact. Without it the rear dropouts can be stretched few millimeters so it's not safe to ride anymore.
Not sure they sell the part alone, but if you also want a hanger : https://www.commencal-store.com/patte-de-derailleur-pour-meta-v3-sx-sl-sup-jr-24-c2x12490459
Am I just being silly? Is that not it on top of the rear mech?
No, it's just a regular bolt from a hardware store. Turns out it doesn't fit so official commencal one is needed. He bought a completely new hanger, so I guess the bolt fits. Can't say for sure yet, the hanger is still in mail.
