Had any problems with all your 36s?
Nope, they've been good. Gave them a lowers service a couple of months back and now feel even better.

Well, seems their 36 is a halla lot better than their 34, mine have just started creaking again, only got em back from warranty a month or so ago Cry

Have to send them off for warranty again? Then sell and get 36 tup

Five looks epic Russ! Love the look of the new Fives. Internal downtube routing looks so good.

1- most likely 190x51
2- yep, although you'll have to dig in the Orange archives to find the exact model of headset you'll need
3- 140mm fork if you plan on riding it as an xc bike, 160mm bike if it's more of an enduro bike for you. Can't say which model as you haven't laid a budget out Wink

Cheers,
Don't know the exact model as only got the frame.
would using a 160 fork change the head angle? i think it is 67 degrees with the 140mm ?

Posted: Mar 31, 2017 at 13:27 Quote
It usually is about 0.5° of head angle for 10mm of travel, so expect a 66° with a 160mm. Which is pretty ok, even now.

Main problem on that version is the seatpost, in 27.2, which limits a lot the available dropper posts you could use (if you planned using one).

Latest Five is 66deg with 150mm forks. Warranty on new model is invalid if you run 160mm! I have run 150 and 160 on my older 26" fives prefered 150 to be honest as it climbed slightly better.

To be fair mate it rides great, but I'm tempted to jump ship over next few months to a different manufacturer.

Has anyone else killed a Four? Found this yesterday and wonder if anyone else had done the same. And if Orange warranted it.

Wow...say that on FB group...I gave major doubts about these new Oranges, they used to be bomb proof but there seems to be cracked frames left right and centre at the moment, all bikes within a year or so old.

I imagine in trying to get the weigh down as much as possible they've pushed things too far!
