How does that one attach to the rest of the stand?

My LBS has one of these that they aren't using any more (just the clamp) that I think I could buy for a half decent price, the trouble is they use a bastardly method to attach it to the rest of the stand.

O+

it looks to me like its a peg that it uses to attach, if that is the case then u could have the machine shop guys machine a plug that clamped that stud and then you can weld in the end of a tube
if the stud is threaded then rather than clamping the stud, just thread the hole

(sorry for any errors or being unclear, typing, thinking, and watching house pick two haha

Nope. That larger diameter bar next to the "plug" actually slides into a tube. It can spin around 360 degrees and is held it place (clamped) by a locking pin, exactly how lock on grips work.

all the bikes in the background are the camps bikes. the blue one on the stand in the background is mine. and the Trek on the stand is also the camps. there is a duel crown big hit in the background that belongs to another co worker. the kids ride Trek 4900's and Jamis durango's. not bad intro XC bikes. I want to start a Gravity program here, but the boss does not want it.....Yet... ha ha!

Pretty sure it is called peg board, and somewhere like Home Depot should have it.
