Anyone else noticed there's no bushing on the lower shock eyelet on the Glory? Or at least my 2014 frame doesn't have one.

As far as I know no Giants have lower bushings as it doesn't rotate around the bottom eyelet

Cool. Yeh I figured the shock and lower link must move together. Never new it was like that on all Giant's though, interesting.

Made this sexy gif to illustrate the difference between the 2012 and 2013 Glory 1.

I just bought a 2013 Glory 1, have upgraded the brakes to new Saints with braided hose, gotten rid of the SRAM drivetrain (Zee mech and saint shifter) and that's all.

How are you guys finding the DT Swiss-cheese EX500's? I'm tossing up whether to keep them or sell them while they're undamaged and buy something heavier/stronger.

Otherwise, I want a wider set of bars. That's it Smile

Mine (still waiting on drivetrain upgrade and braided line in pic)

my friend ran the DT's for a while and they were fine for a while until one day when they just kind 'sploded.

Bent the walls in several places beyond repair at Ft William, but thats to be somewhat expected from there. Front wheel is still running spot on with no need to true a year on.

They sounds like shiiiit as far as rear rims go. I punish my wheels on account of the many rock gardens and doubles where I ride. Cheers

Most of the Giant full suspension bikes are built without them. It was a real pain having shocks come back from fox service with a DU installed in that position...
