I've just sold my Ti Switchback frame and built up a 2017 Scout (tracked down on of if the bit the last black frames in large because I didn't want Boost).

Apologies for the shoddy pics; the light was fading when I managed to get out.

First impressions; it feels a bit 'soggy' having ridden hardtails for the last few years particularly on the smoother trails but it pedals well enough and is more fun once it's pointing down. It loves corners but boy is that BB low; I though my Demo was bad for pedal strikes but this is something else even with 170mm cranks. Jumps well too. Looking forward to getting used to it over the next few weeks.

Need to shorten the chain as it's a bit long and I need to sort the rattle from the internal cables.

165 mm cranks are the answer!

Low bb height? Modify riding style. People lose their damn mind about +/- 3mm of bb drop and forget that you can change the height of the pedals +/- 300mm by timing the pedal strokes carefully. The rider chooses when the pedals are down, bottom line.

Your bike looks awesome man, hope you enjoy it!

I've added a skid guard too after catching my chainring on a few bits on the local trails. The BB is certainly a fair bit lower than my Switchback was which was billed as a low bike.

My Transition TransAm build will begin shortly. Just waiting for cranks/brakes and need to figure out what rotors and adapters.

Here's the frame when I purchased it and with the new stickers applied.

Before
Transition TransAm frame as I purchased it.

After
New Transition stickers applied. Frame looks fantastic for it s age. Waiting on crank brakes and assembly will commence

Had to order a bunch of stuff that was missing, rear axle, oddly sized seatpost clamp. Can't wait to get the bike built and go ride it!

Very nice bike!

Thanks dude.
Pic was from October 1st, but i've been to blue with it a few times now.
So much better at jumping than my session.
Haven't dropped a chain yet without the guide.
I switched out the stock flow ex's with flow mk3 tubeless, with a 2.5 WT on the front. Grip is amazing.
525# SLS on the way to replace the steel 450.
Weighs 36.5# as pictured.

I never rode it with the ex's unfortunately.
The rear ex rim was bent when I bought it so I had both rims replaced.
Been running 23-25psi front with the 2.5 DHF WT DD and 28 rear specialized butcher 2.3 DH.
No tire roll/burping etc at all so far.

Haven't dropped a chain or had any issues yet, so ya I'm happy with it.

Not sure if adding one would quiet it down or not, though i may throw a tube or something around the chainstay to see if gets any quieter.

Bike jumps so nice, can't wait to get the heavier spring on.

Just add a layer or 2 of mastic tape on the top and bottom of the chainstay and bottom/inside of the seatstay. I've done it and it definitely got quieter and doesn't look as horrid as a wrapped tube.
