Because yeti hates warranting things when they get smashed Razz

It's not just that they break. It's the experience after that really sucks

Back when I worked in a shop (around when the SB6 and SB5 came out) they were breaking constantly. It wasn't just in one place either, they broke all over. Chainstays, headtube, downtube, BB. I even saw one where the structure around the infinity links and BB shell was cracked. It was actually impressive.

At one point we had a whole full-sized bike box full of broken front and rear triangles.

They seem to have gotten a lot better, but it's a pretty fresh memory for a lot of industry people.

Pretty sure the original Insta page was taken down and renamed brokenyetigathering. New page only has a few, old page had plenty.
Still love my SB150 with a recently replaced rear triangle...

All bikes break, it’s about how waranty works.

I'd rather not have to deal with warranty if possible. I know several people who have broken Yeti's, Giant's and Trek's but nobody who has broken a Santa Cruz frame.
Not saying they don't break, but they seem to have a good track record.

Three of my buddies have broken a Santa Cruz. Nomads. Although if I didn’t tell you it was nomad, you would have no idea what model it is because all Santa Cruz’s look the same

Like I said, I'm sure it happens.
Yes, they do, good observation! Just like all Trek's look the same, and Giants look the same, Scott's look the same, Yeti's, Rocky Mountain...etc.

Trek is just as bad as an offender as Santa Cruz. I agree.

Top fuel/fuel/remedy/slash.

Never seen a broken Knolly (outside of old shock bolt issues) and used to work for a dealer back in the day. They've got my vote for one of if not the most durable makes out there.
