Well it's time to go job hunting again. I found out one of my friends is earning more than I am (barely, but still) working at Home Depot without a degree than I am building casino interiors with an associates of machining. wtf.

...and according to Indeed.com I am $4.26 below the average wage in Washington for someone with my experience. We just received in two days plywood and poplar wood on five pallets worth more than my yearly income. I know we can afford a ton of $#!t... so F*** that.

I don't drink at work and I don't consume drugs of any type beyond caffeine and sugar and I know the only person who has any chance of doing my job as efficiently or as well (and they aren't quite there yet) is the production manager and he's way to busy. They know I can work my @$$ off if I need to and at this point I'm just disappointed. The owners idea of a yearly raise was $1. After both people under him (my bosses) told him I should get 2.

I has several intervewz coming, wish me a lottalottaluck.

Nobody wants to be underpaid. People struggle with living as it is. Especially with inflation etc.

Good luck to rose-wheel. It's getting tough. I had to LEAVE my full-time in order to stay home and take care of my elderly mother with dementia. She needs 24/7 care!! So I had to re-open my home shop and call-in my customers to bring repairs HERE. It's madness because they're piling up and I can only work a few hours here-n-there and I have to work FAST and feel like every minute is rush rush. Spent most of everything I had saved to pay for this and it's now starting to really hurt.

I hope anyone looking for better hours/pay/work really finds it now because everything's costing more and it's getting to seem like they're trying to destroy any hope of a person surviving. I'm not exaggerating many people I know are hurting right now.

Sorry to hear of your mom/mum, and your situation in general, Scary.

We seem to live in a cruel world of misery and suffering. Different devils/problems, on different levels.

I hope things work out for you. Nobody deserves a difficult life. Only the cruel and evil.
