it actually isnt a common insult. but whatever im not worried about it.
yeah they can accept larger chain rings but the circumference of the full rotation is larger than a bmx's rotation. this is because bmx cranks stick farther out. its good for bmxers cause it helps with pedal grinds. but its bad for mtb cause in tight rock sections you want your bike skinny as possible.
do you agree with what im saying? both cranks have their advantages and their disadvantages are minor
erm... do you even ride a bike?
My vagrant's pedals are farther apart than any BMX i've ridden. And for good reason.
use bmx cranks if they are weak?? These builds are made for USE and hard use at that.

If this many people are running BMX cranks and we haven't heard any horror stories of cranks snapping and hurting someone in pretty frickin sure they are strong enough. Have I made my point yet??
