The Trials/SS hope Pro II has twice as many engagement points, so it's louder, and it engages faster. Likewise, it has a 6 speed freehub body that's made of steel, so it wont dig in, and it also uses funn bolts so you're not pissing with Quick releases.
[Quoten] The trials version iv heard have cracked on MTB's before. so just get the regular hope pro II.[/Quoten] I've never heard that, but if one were to be stronger, it would definitely be the trials one. A few of the first generation hub shells had cracked, but they made them stronger in that area for the new ones. So they're pretty much bombproof.
im just a little curious but would the profile mtb single speed hub be louder than the hope pro 2
I've heard both and Pro II trials/ss hubs are much louder.
[Quoten]so th pro2 trials would be the best bet, louder stronger, would it cost more or less?
its gonna go on a dj bike would the trials work cause i always thought that you dont ride to fast in trials[/Quoten] It's your best bet. It's not just made for trials, it's made as an overall single speed hub. It'll work great.
