Something to do in the oil field. Not working directly on the rigs but around them. Big money and you dont always have to sit at a desk!

You may already know this but it isn't nice work I know three guys who graduated Highschool got all they're training and left to work in the oil industry and they work 14 12 hour days on then 14 days off, and thats Fort McMurray where they're is nothing to do to start with.

plumber. $90 bucks an hour, o yea.

I will make sure I don't flush my toilet for 3 weeks after eating McDonald's and shoving EVERYTHING I can think of in it then call you to fix it. Sure you will make all that money but look at what you do.

Wow... I honestly feel bad for you, you have no ambition at all. And plumbers dont always clean up shit. My friend is getting his plumbing apprenticeship and hes making loads of money. And let me guess... you want to be a lawyer, or any job that you get to drive a nice car and wear a suit, well good luck with that.

And im going for Electrical apprenticeship in 3 months, so I guess thats what im dointup

It all depends on what section of plumbing your in as to how much shit you'll deal with. Honestly in the seven months of full time work, I've only dealt with shit twice, and that was when we were dealing with sewage lift stations. I tell ya, nothing like the smell of raw sewage. If you were doing mainly service work you might encounter it, but any of the new housing/renovations you don't deal with the poop at all.

alright so this is pretty ambitious but i wanna be a recording engineer (work in music studio) because I already know how to do most of it and I have recorded my band and others a shitload of times. I also wanna still play in my band and make a few bucks. I anna ski in the winter and ride mtb and quad in the summer and maybe enter a few comps on skis and bikes. I also wanna go to school to be a cinematographer and film editor so I can make 16mm and digital ski and bike videos. I have been experimenting over the years with filming and editing and I think Im getting pretty good. not the best paying jobs in the wolrd buy hey, ill be having fun all the time. and I also wanna live just outside of kelowna or whistler. the ridings great, it wud be a great place to make a studio cuz u can be inspired by the beautiful nature lol

Well, I am 18 I moved out 7 months ago, and I work with disabled adults in a group home. So when I grow up, I would like to go to college and be something.

Be careful you don't get caught up in the all mighty dollar. Its not bad when you're still young but you get lured in by the money and before you know it you're in your 30s and it hurts everyday to do the physical work. Then you want to find something else and have no employable skills outside of what you used to do and you damn yourself to that life until you're too beat to walk.

I've met way too many people already that have given me that exact same advice because that's exactly what they did. Everyone says they won't but most people do.

Forget it. It's a life on suitcase anyways. Almost went for a masters degree in oil/gas enterprise management.
But then again, if you don't want family and stuff... go for it.
