industry nine...they sound insane...and the strongest rim is probably a Mavic 823
I9's aren't near as loud as most people think. I have a set. The sound is more like a quiet weed-wacker. It's like a constant drone. CK's aren't that loud either. Loudest hub's I've heard is a friends Hope Pro II, and My boss's Ringle Abbah, they both are pretty loud. Some BMX hubs are pretty loud too. I My freecoaster is like chainsaw! Razz

Strongest Rim:

Syncros DPS32:
-685g
-32 holes
-f*ckin' beast

I've done some stupid shit, but the wheel never goes out of true.

Ask Mike Kinrade and like 6 other pro-riders; they run the DPS32 on their downhill/freeride bikes.

I actually have a full-on downhill wheelset and 2 DPS32's going on for Buy/sell soon.. if interested, check my profile.

P.S. You have to message me for the rims though.
