420a-c

it was- well, ok. I mean, the bike felt amazing but didn't feel nearly as lively as it does with sus. i think ima stick with the 831. Im sure the liveliness would return with some hatchets/districts (ie higher bars), but idk. hmmmmmm

I'd prolly go a little higher than that, but yeah.

What about a 435mm rebate?
Or a fundamental? aren't they like 440mm?

they dont make that,

and fundamentals are 435. but i like the 831. its perfect. well, close. if i ever get bored with it, then. then i will go rigid.

What travel is the 831 at? 100mm?

Yeah, but he's lowering it to 80mm which gives a 450mm a2c iirc. A 440mm rigid would be the tits.

Definitely. Just seems like a frame more suited to rigids.
Dat geo.

Lower the 831 to 70mm? Good a2c and you get to keep your wrists...

Aaaarrrrgh. holy crap.
How does it feel?

Words. cannot. describe. I've never hopped so high, with so little effort. Its kray. i'm off work tomorrow so i will get a full day of riding in.

Keep in mind you are standing way furthur off the ground to begin with, so are you really clearing more with your tires or is your body just futher in the air?

13.6 in chain-stays on 26in bike. Shortest in world.

Matt did a great job on the frame, as usual. It does look a little awkward with that geometry, everything being so short and all. But whatever, it probably rides great. If you like it that's all that matters anyway. nice build Smile
