but using "ladies" as an insult is misogynistic and there are plenty of actual ladies who ride better than me and probably most of y'all too.

It's more that that's how the old saying is phased, less so as it's suppose to be insulting. Don't read this far into shit my dude.

Commencal Absolute

Happy to call this 'project' complete.

XTR crank and brake, Pro4 Hubs on 471 rims, Chromag Contact pedals. Thomson post & clamp with SDG TiFly, Renthal cockpit. Fox 32 Kashima lowered to 100mm. Love it!

I could swear this looks like a 24". Nevertheless, super clean, love how the raw frame looks

It's actually silver paint with clear coat! Easily confused for raw though for sure.

The XTR stuff harps back to when I used to lust over Jared Graves Yeti DJ and Dan Athertons Commencal Absolut Ti in the 4x world cup days. Something about a light racy hardtail with XTR components and a Fox fork just ticks the boxes for me.

Hey guys quick question: can a stout crank fit a 30 or 28 tooth chainring? And if yes, what chainring would that be? (Like brand and specific model)

Chain tensioners on my PBJ, dumb idea? Just pulled the back wheel to change out the rotor and realized how much I dislike having to fuss with getting the right chain tension lol

I've run a basic DMR chain tensioner for years. I personally love it. Can't speak to what its like running a full derailleur as a tensioner as some do but it works great
