After shot showing rerouting of the hose and cable to a more protected location.

Hose and cable going under the shock mount

Cycle Path (my LBS), as usual, did an excellent job on this.

Pulled mine right out of the rear triangle and split them at the rear shock. Hard to see.

Has anyone ever ACTUALLY had a problem with the cables on the downtube?

I've been running them there all season and have not had any problems aside from the odd broken zip-tie from shuttling.

First ride on mine I took a nugget off the bottom and squished both cables a bit(got the first dent out of the way). Never destroyed them but they would both ballooned out the bottom under the cranks on full compressions as well. Mostly the rear brake line and I snagged it lightly and pulled all the slack down from the bars. Again, never screwed it up but that was enough for me, call it preventative maintenance.

Im thinking of getting one. I am 6'2" and i like roomy but not too roomy cockpits. And i don't really like tall bikes. Suggestions on size?
