I’d say the mediums are both the same sizes, but slightly different shapes.

I've got an Aircraft in small and my head measures 56.5/57cm and it fits perfect. I'd say it would be good even if your heads slightly larger

It's pretty cheap at only 107$ is there a better bang for ur buck with another helmet?

I have 58.5 and M giro cipher and chronicle both fit. It is a bit tighter and took some time to break in cipher but now fits like it should. Chronicle feels a bit tight at the sides but once I tifhten it it feels great.
I'd try M size and if it doesn't fit try another manufacturer. I have another road helmet at the beginning of the large size and it feels and looks so wrong. Helmet should fit tight as I understand.
