I took the glory out for it's first somewhat serious ride today. I know it's a race bike, but it freerides amazingly! I did some freeride-style jumps including a couple decent gap hips and it is way better for freeriding than my dirtbag, which is a freeride bike haha. I was really pleasantly surprised by the way it "pops" off of lips. Anyone else feel the same thing? I must say though, the tires almost feel like they holding the rest of the bike back at least in wet conditions. Anyone kno what conditions the michelins are intended for?

The Michelins are the only poor spec choice. They blow in every single condition known to man.

I run a Minion in the front and the Michelin in the back...Just because I like to let er' slide.

dhf in the front and an ardent in the back is the ideal tyre choice.

Help. Im 5'-7" I like the size small but someone told me a medium will give you highspeed stability. What do you think?
it will only do that cause of the longer wheel base. ride each size if u can and pick the one that feels the best.

I'm 5' 10" and everything but the large feels cramped to me. About the michelins, I'm surprised such a big tire company would have such a shitty dh tire

All downhill bikes regaurdless of the size can be excellent free ride bikes, its all dependant on your set up, little stiffer compression and a quicker rebound can make all the difference

I'm 6'3 and I ride a Medium 09' Glory. Perfect size, but I'm coming off a bike that was the size of a dump truck.

Sure both look great...I have experience on 888 but this will be my first fox, I might do the same...what i`ve found on the internet tells me that the 888 is better..

thanks

Don't base your fork choice on what you find on the Internet. Nuff said
