strokers aren't without their fair share of problems as well. The new primes look pretty solid, but i dunno anyone with them yet

Rydes=Junk
Trails=Better Junk

I run Stroker Trails on my do all ht, not to many issues, but on any sort of DH, they fade wicked bad, even went out on me during a race run down Whiteface(one of the biggest DH mtns on the US east coast)

Elixir ---> hayes would be a massive downgrade

If you dont like your elixers you might look into shimano xt or slx, or maybe some formulas

agreed, Avid may have reliability issues (although both of my sets have been fantastic and I plan to buy a pair of 2011 codes) but Hayes is most definitely worse, I've never ridden a brake from them that I've liked.

then send them in for warranty because it shouldnt.

People often bitch about a SRAM/Avid/RS product and yet they've never bothered with their awesome warranty.

how long is the warranty for?

Posted: Apr 3, 2011 at 22:26 Quote
probably a year, but I doubt they'd turn you down if you say you've had the problem for a while
