Just Under £1000 on my BMX

I dont know anything about bmx but £1000 for a bike that has tiny wheels, no suspension, no gears or anything. It seems like a waste of money.

Ya biking sure is a money grabber...
VPS Shore-$1200
Banshee Scream-$1600
Be-One Woodbumble-$5500
Demo 8 (06)-Just changed frames and fork with the B1 build so around $3000
Demo 8 (07)-$6500

So, in total about $17,000 In about 4yrs. Although all sold but the 07 Demo, so all in all I have spent about $11,000.
With the new frame/cranks/wheelset...the new total price has gone up to about $21,000...And spent in total, after selling the bikes, etc is about $12,500.

Nope, but saving every penny adds up over the years...sometimes I don't even know where I get it all.

After my bike was stolen a year and a half ago I have spent:
- Approx 650 for a complete GT moto in team racing paint (thank you ebay)
- 450 for an 07 fox 32 vanilla (saved like 50 some bucks somehow i cant remember)
- 250 for a pair of Juicy 7's (off a friend)
- And 120 on Kenda Nevegals.(only regular priced thing)
Totalling 1440

And this bike has done all my riding, from all mountain to street and dj like everyday to whistler,Van,kamloops and silverstar. I am pretty freakin cheap eh?

I don't even know. My current bikes, MTB prob $1200 but I got the frame for free. BMX I sold all my good parts so right now it's prob only worth about $400 to replace. My XC bike was $1600 but it is about 10 years old now. Over the time that I've been riding at the very minimun $15000. I would say it's probably closer to $25000 if you add in all the tires and spokes, chains ect... OUCH.
