I keep thinking about getting a Nomad. I currently have a Blur 4X and a Stab Deluxe and was thinking about chopping them both for one bike, kind of a happy medium.
Is the Nomad robust enough for play DH and freeride duties? Is it as tough as say an SX Trail?
nomads are huckable. Mine has been to whislter, hawaii, and all over socal. It is a mean bike. I only ride freeride and dirt jumps and have to stop enjoying it
I got my dream bike yesturday, a polished nomad with stacked parts.

All this XT stuff is coming off my Whyte E120 which is extremely light, I had a demo ride of the Nomad at Glentress and I have to say that if you have enough strength in your legs then it will climb really well. For a bike that weighs a fair bit more it was so very close to the Whyte. It's simply down to the VPP, it's so good that it helps climbing and downhill.
Will post a pic once it's finished.
In response to the above post, I swear by tubeless.
