The frame looks heavy as f**k!!!! i mean is that carbon fiber or something because it looks way to heavy to have a controlled ride. I prefer light but strong DH bikes because they are so much more controllable.

It's actually pretty light, my complete bike weighs 35lbs.

The one I had was about 17kg, so I wouldn´t call that heavy...
Everyone thinks it is heavy just because of the looks.

Yeah, people don't understand how a monocoque frame works, it's two really thin halves welded together, it's all surface area. the frame only weighs about 9lbs.

In other words, how the frame looks is more important then how it behaves.

OK..... I've been looking at the bike and thinking that something looked strange up front. I finally looked closer, busted out the measuring tape, and found that that I only have 6 of the 8 inches of travel that I should have. The problem being that I have flat crown on the top.

Anyone got any ideas on where to find a 2" drop crown for a 32mm stanchion Boxxer?

Really? What's the stack hight on your headset? I run my 32mm boxxer with the flat crown and am able to get the full 8" of stanchion. Maybe look at a low stack headset.
