I feel like comparing dropper posts and rear suspension to internal routing isn't exactly a fair comparison. Dropper posts and rear suspension are revolutionary on mtb, headset routing is a visual gimmick at best

Fair, not my best comparison.. but my point is people tend to cause a ruckus for things. Good or bad. And agree that it brings no benefit to the party beyond being visual… Who’s got a bike to share now… with or without headset routing…
I do like looking at bikes with headset routing. That said, I'm not getting one of them for myself (yet). I prefer AXS to deal with the cables. And I can live with the brake hoses on show, as long as they are short.

I just can’t get onboard with the headset routing as of yet. But then again, I am old and crusty. Lol!
Guess its more a trail bike with 115mm travel at the back but the Phantom gets used for AM so much its relegated the Megatower v2 to shuttles and the odd bike trip.
Looks fantastic. Almost went with a sentinel before settling on my stumpy evo.
To help with the internal routing, I bought a cheap ($15) kit off Amazon and it made it more tolerable. On my previous frame (ibis) it was literally the worst process ever even with the kit… I’d rather do inserts in dh case tires that route that bike… stumpy was much easier… if you haven’t bought the internal cable routing kit, do yourself a favor and buy one.
Which kit did you get? I just bought this 22' Stumpy Evo frame and I am mostly done with the build except routing the rear brake and installing the chain. This is the first frame that I've ever had internal routing on. Best part about this build is that, so far, it's under $3k!! I got some crazy deals on parts and I got the cranks and brakes for free 2022 Stumpjumper Evo S5 Rockshox Lyric Ultimate 160 PNW Range Bars with Deity Supracush grips Specialized stem Sram Code RSC brakes Deore shifter and derailleur Deore SLX 10-51 Cassette and SLX chain Sram Descendant cranks One Up pedals SDG Tellis 200 dropper and SDG saddle Hunt V2 Trailwide wheels Butcher T9 and Eliminator T7 tires in 2.6 I'll get better pics when it's complete.
