At least the gear was made to such high standards it's unlikely you'll need it. Companies offering true lifetime warranties tend to have to make stuff to high enough standards it's not overly needed.

Economies and investment in being able to produce more, bring costs down and supply rather than make on demand I imagine. That info may well be in the funding information, so it's worth looking for yourself.

@wburnes: maybe. Biggest aero components in the system are rider, helmet, front fork. Only the rider is really able to be optimised much.
I recall world champs one year and the athletes I was working with had been doing practice runs in normal kit, put skin suits on to race. One of them nearly crashed he cleared a large booter up top by so much more.
