Finally I have new bike, Summum 2012, the green one. Little details to go but, what do you think on running 400lbs on the RC4 for 75kg with helmet and...?
Soon I'll post some pics

Just measure sag with the 400lbs and is 19% only, so, Should I go for the 375 or even de 350?
The Fox 40 looks fine at 25%

In my opinion you should look for something about 35% in this frame.

It is kinda progressive so you shouldn't bottoming out easly with plush ride.

2013 mondraker summum, as it is a bit more progressive and requires stiffer spring - 70kg. 400lbs spring on DSP Dueler shock- feels perfect, around 30-35 % SAG. As someone before suggested, this frame is pretty progressive and needs to be ridden with more % SAG.
I am thinking about replacing the shock with an air shock- Vivid R2C. Anyone any complaints or ideas how does the frame handle air shocks?

I'm thinking on a ccdb air, with the extra volume, it can fit fine... but I didn't see any summum with air shock sincerely

Here it is one, appears as 2013 year.
Summum with Vivid Air
  Mondraker summum 2013 Vivid Air

Do not get the CCDB shock, too many issues with it about servicing. In terms of performance, it is really good- sensitive, but me personally do not like CaneCreek shocks. Heard from someone that was really impressed by the Vivid R2C on his summum.

Ordered a 2016 frame last week. Went from my medium 2013 to this one being a large. Can not wait to get it. Has that new fox dhx2 rear shock on it, without that SLR spring. That does not bother me anyway since I will be getting something stiffer like a 550, since that is what I had on my other frame.

I was thinking about selling the rear shock and getting the air version but I was worried about going through the seals all the time. I saw the local Giant dealer with a Glory Team in the fall and he said he blew the Rockshox air shock all the time.

Anyone put a straight air shock on their summum?

I do not believe it is a frame issue with the shock seals, rather than shock issue. My teammate has a Glory 2014 with Vivid Air R2C and has no compliants for the whole season, including a few DH races. He is a light rider indeed, but still no issues with the shock and seals.
