triple edit: when I had the page open, it had a checklist of "standard PB user features" compared to "PB PLUS user features". Am I the only one who saw this? Am I just going crazy?

Did you see the page of features? All I can remember is:

Sounds like BEE ESS to me. Gonna be like every other premium-member forum, where those not paying get hit with slowed down website and extra ads... I really hope Pinkbike doesn't go through with this.

I really don't see the point. It's eventually just gonna drive people away.. I know I'm for sure not gonna pay, even though I'm on this site nearly every day. Waste of money imho, and I can watch HD videos on youtube and vimeo for free, so that doesn't bother me at all. I'll just start going elsewhere..

I think maybe if they introduced more worthwhile features it may convince me to invest, at the moment it dosent look very appealing.

Edd, why'd you edit your post? Originally you said you wouldn't mind?

It's just giving the people who have the extra cash and want rid of the ad's etc the chance to do so.
