This isn't a petition. Basically I got to thinking about signature parts and shit.

So pinkbike. If you could have some signature parts, designed just for you and sold to other people, what would they be?

I'd do a grip with a harder left compound than right. Because I destroy left grips for some reason.

I'd do one of those nifty one-piece seat/posts, but curved and short enough to be slammed on a mountainbike, and with lots of padding, like a Fat Cap or a an Animal Cush.

I'd do removal disc mounts. Kind of like how Turner has post/IS mounts on their frames, combined with how NS does removal V-brakes.

That's all I can think of right now.

4" tall 22.2 mm diameter steel bars that aren't airplane wide.

slim plastic pedals with slightly pointed pins
lock-on shadow conspiracy thirteen grips
districts that are 3.25 inches tall and have 4 upsweep x 8 backsweep.

Cool thread! I would have grips with a criss-cross skeleton pattern cause it pisses me off when those skeleton grips rip apart sideways. And i think that 25 inch wheels would be sick best of both worlds!

EDIT: I would also have a slim seat with a layer of gel padding so its nice for your bum.

A decent no rise/no drop 22.2mm stem. Frame with my own geo and small tweaks. I'd have a washer system on the rear dropouts with little vertical grooves in it, so your wheel would automatically go to one of many small set spaces. Would make tensioning a breeze.

lock-on animal edwins, and i agree with bubbaleech on the seat; how easy would it be to take a plain plastic bmx seat and throw some of that memory foam shit on to make it a little easier in the event of some caseage?

i would never use a plastic bmx seat. ive already taken my mtb seat to the ass/upper thigh, and it hurts like hell.

A dj/street frame with custom geometry and an integrated post to however long you want it. Kind of like Look's 986, only designed for DJ/street instead of XC.Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://www.bikemagic.com/news/images/euro08-look-986-hi.jpg

Signature hardened locking spoke nipples. Don't know how this would work out but it sure would keep a wheel in true.

I'd also have a signature Holy Rollers with thinner knobs (simply less rubber).
