Hi.

I'm going to buy a DJ frame, and I was thinking about the NS Majesty, Transition trail-or-park or BlackMarket MOB.

What difference do they have?

Please comment.

I think you should either go for a norco 250, if you want to ride street and park alot, along with DJ, butfor about the same price a BlkMrkt Riot would be a great choice. I would not for for the TOP, the design doesn't look as good as the riot or 250 for all around street, park, dj

any chance you could demo either or both? what feels better for one rider could feel wack to the next guy, I would base my decision on feel, closely folowed by price, than asthetics, compare geo charts if you know exactly what your after, if your not sure than you should try everything you can and figure out what you think works best for you personally....also if you can find other users who have experiance with both frames you could ask them wich they would choose and why, based on the traits of each frame

I was thinking a Scott voltage YZ limited geometry because it feel very good at Jumps, I tried it, but the dont sell the frame alone

I currently own 2, an 08 and an 09, both were found frame only, there is a few in the buy/sell now, I like both but prefer the 09 as it is close to 2inches shorter and I find it much more controlable in the air. I would not reccomend an aluminum frame unless your a smooth rider and/or do not throw/ditcch your bike mid flight. I ride alu because it is stiff and light and I generally do not abuse my gear. I believe Timo has some frames for sale on his site, I would also consider selling my 08 but you may find better deals closer to home. also you can likely get one for half the price of retail if you search classifieds online, just dont expect warranty

i own a NS traffic and it is solid! go with the majesty IMO. heard great things about it.

the majesty has a steeper HT angle (69.5 for the TOP, 70.5 for the maj) and is lighter by 0.7 pounds (5.6 compared to 4.9). it'll make for a lighter, more flickable bike. the majesty is fully heat treated after welding and so it's extremely strong for its weight.

also, the majesty has a much shorter chainstay length (381mm vs 400mm) so it'll spin easier too.

annnd the majesty has rustproofing inside the tubes as well as outside under the paint.

annnd the majesty has a slightly higher bb height which will mean it'll bunnyhop and spin better. however, the TOP will feel more stable on bigger jumps / higher speeds.

I would go with majesty. When ever i ride a bike built on it, it feels awesome, personally when i am going to be buying a new frame (i have a traffic) it will be majesty. Plus NS is a really good company and you can get crash warranty.

Trail or Park hands down. After riding the Mob, Majesty and numerous other dirtjump frames I find the TOP to be the best(personally.) Plus the clean look where the seatstays meet the toptube has always appealed to me.
