Im looking into buying a 2007 Norco rampage.
I was wondering on your thoughts about the bike.
What are its weaknesses?
What are its strengths?

its strenghts would be its strenght itself. you cannot break it. well except i broke mine on the seatstay but that was because the rim bent into it. If you get it, expect a heavy and noisy bike, but its an amazing all around bike, good for dj/street and definatelt freeride dh. the only thing i would do is upgrade rims .but its a sick ride, and u definately will progress riding one. if you ever switch to a lighter bike you can do 720s like its nothing:P ahah kidding but get it, its awesome

But it, it's a burly freeride hardtail, and the part spec is damn nice for the price. If there is any bike I wish I had, this is it (that and a Transition Vagrant).

I have the '06 Rampage and I love it! Great for intermediate riding, dirt jumping and urban. So far mines taken a beating and stayed in very good shape, nice tough frame, good components and forks. You won't be able to find much better of a quality hard tail for any less money.

It's a pretty nice bike, good specs, good bike for FR and the shore.

$1649 sounds good, but also try to bargain with the guy to get the price down couple hundred dollars.
