You can see it here on my bike: https://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8773953/?s6
It's behind the shock there. The two holes on the mudguard is on the top. And there is a thing on the frame that is removable which the mudguard threads into, do you have that?

Anyone here have a 2012 summum? Just picked one up for 1500 quid brand new from merlin cycles however im just wanting to check if the 2012 ones still had problems with bolts coming loose? The bolts in the frame are epically tight at the moment so id rather leave them if i can but im tempted to take them out and lock tight.

Take them out and lock tight. If also consider swapping for stainless steel bolts as well.

I have one from there as well....didn't know anything about bolts coming loose, will have to keep an eye on that.

Where can you get some spares from for the Summum?

anyone know how much steerer length the summum needs?
I want to leave at least 20mm extra on my fork if possible, so is it ok to use steerer spacers?
cheers

This calulator is spot on for around 38% sag (perfect) if you choose 33% in the calculator.

Same, I got a 400lb to swap over from the 350lb stock......I think it will spot on then.

Unless he has the 2013 model which needs a higher spring rate because of the shorter shock.

I didn't know the shock length changed in 2013... does that mean the frame is different to compensate?

The standover is lower. I think that was why they changed it. But yes the linkage have a different ratio to compensate for it, so it still has 8" travel.
